Last weekend we had Coco's ballerina birthday party, and it was so fun to have a house full of little girls in their leotards and tutus!
The highlight of the party was Miss Chloe, who is Leila's ballet teacher. She came for about an hour to dance with the girls, and teach them some ballet basics.
Decor was kept super simple! Being that my girls both do dance (and we have LOTS of pink in this house, poor Tony!) I simply put out things we already had:
We had a table set up with various dance-themed coloring pages, and crayons, and also a decorate your own tutu station. Time escaped us, though, so the DIY tutus ended up going home as favors!
Food was also simple, and exactly what Coco asked for. Peanut Butter and Jelly, Mac 'N Cheese, salad, pirate's booty, fruit skewers and sliced up Cara Cara oranges.
I bought way too much tulle for the party, and decided to make Ramon festive as well:
I got in on the tulle action too, and wore a pink tutu (although you can't see it!)
The catering department at my old high school made some cute cookies:
And my friend Liz of Lizzy D Mini's did the cupcakes, as always and I did the ballerina cupcake toppers with my Silhouette. I wish I could have photographed just how sparkly they were!
My sweet dancer had a wonderful day!
