Shop for Good - Breast Cancer Awareness Products 2012+ a giveaway

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and with breast cancer affecting so many people (not only the ones who are diagnosed with it, but their families) I think it's so important that we have a whole month dedicated to it. There are SO many companies (large and small business alike) donating money to various breast cancer organizations. But on the flip side, there are some just trying to make a quick buck. I was shopping last week and saw a cute reusable coffee tumbler with a breast cancer ribbon on it. Then I looked at the label and in the crazy tiny print it said "No money donated to breast cancer organizations." I was shocked, and wanted to point out a handful of businesses (my own included) donating funds to breast cancer.

L'Bel: 15% of October's proceeds will go the the Avon 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer

Stella & Dot: Several products benefiting the Noreen Fraser Foundation. My particular favorites are the Bryant Scarf and the Luna Wrap Bracelet!

Mae B: 100% of October's proceeds donated to various breast cancer donations, and 15% of Mae's Mary Kay proceeds will be donated as well.

OPI is donating $25,000 to the Susan G. Komen foundation, and has an adorable limited edition set available!

babEblessings is donating half of the proceeds of THIS print to CIBC Run for a Cure.

Poofy Cheeks is donating 50% of her awesome set of pink hair ties to a local Making Strides for Breast Cancer team.

Nordstrom has lots of different brands donating proceeds to various Breast Cancer Awareness groups and charities. Check out some of the beauty brands HERE!
