I saw this on Pinterest and laughed so hard. This is what I do every night that Tony is working. I've got it down to a science. Walk in my room. Turn on the TV so there's some light. Turn off the main light, go into the bathroom turn on that light. Brush teeth, go potty, wash hands, turn off bathroom light. Then I ninja dive into bed (so my feet don't have to touch the ground.) In mostly darkness (still have a little light from the tv) I plug in my phone, put on lip balm and hand cream.
Who else has seen way too many scary movies and is with me on this one? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
hahaha! I saw this the other day and could not stop laughing.
ReplyDeleteI was the same exact way when my hubby was deployed. It was like suddenly I was two and scared of the dark. haha. Thanks for sharing!

SO not the only one! This has been a fear of mine since I was a little girl. And I'm 31 now- so, um- yeah- I should totally know better. :) With ya, girl!
ReplyDeleteWait- did I just delete my last comment? awesome. You are SOOO not alone. I've had this same fear since I was a little girl. At 31 yrs old, you would think I would outgrow it! haha Totally NOT alone.
ReplyDeleteI seriously just laughed out loud. YES YES and YES! I was a scary movie junkie in high school...so yes. If my hubby is working late, I sleep with the bathroom light on and the door cracked slightly. And I used to have to sleep with a direct eye shot down the hall way so I could see in advance if any murderers were coming so I could scream and do something about it. lol - totally with ya girl!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am also one of those! Didn't you see Child's Play?! That doll hid under the bed!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are not the only one. I not only won't stick my foot off the bed, but I won't even leave my feet and legs uncovered.
ReplyDeletehahahaha! is it weird that if i go to the bathroom in the middle of the night i always turn the light on cuz i am afraid snakes are gunna come out of the toilet?! lol
