I'm excited for another week of the Gussy Sews Inspiration Workshop. This week it's all about the kitchen! I kind of wish that the kitchen topic was later in the summer, as we're planning on re-doing our kitchen on THE CHEAP this summer!
I'm loving grays and yellows, so this is the color palette we'll be working with:
Our walls are already the "Haystack" color, and I'm loving it. We're planning on painting the cabinets "cement gray" and re-finishing an awesome garage sale kitchen table in the same color. For counter tops Tony is planning on doing a glossy concrete in the "zinc" color with built-in trivets, which should turn out something like this:
Eventually we're planning on doing dark hardwood floors in the kitchen, and in our fireplace room as well. Fingers crossed that it all turns out how we're hoping!!

Oh so pretty! Can't wait to see it..you have to fill me in about the concrete counters? Is it pretty afforadable? We have hideous tile that we want to get rid of SO bad, but granite is not in our budget!
i am a HUGE fan of greys and yellows, thats what we are doing in our master bedroom!
