Here is my recipe for my favorite afternoon Summer treat - iced coffee.
You will need:
1 pot of your favorite coffee, brewed
Ice cube tray
Your favorite coffee creamer - my favorites are Almond Joy and Skinny Caramel Macchiato, both by International delight
Optional:
Agave nectar
Almond Milk
Torani chocolate syrup
Step One:
Brew a full pot of your favorite coffee. I love Seattle's Best Organic Free Trade in Level 5
Once it's cooled for about an hour pour it into a glass container. Stick it in your fridge at least overnight.
Pour your favorite coffee creamer into an ice cube tray, and let that freeze overnight.
Once your coffee is nice and cold, and your ice cubes have set you're ready to go. Get a glass, and add another splash (or more!) of your favorite coffee creamer. Add two or three of your yummy ice cubes, stick in a straw and enjoy the deliciousness!
This is my favorite way to enjoy it, but if you're wanting something a little sweeter add a squirt of this!
Or if you're wanting a something not-so-sweet, this is how my husband likes it: fill your glass with ice cubes, add a splash of almond milk and a squirt of agave nectar and fill the rest with your iced coffee. No matter how you make it if you give it the time to get really, really cold you can't go wrong.
Enjoy!
