Meet the very sweet Michaela, from L'Alfabeto....
I'm married to my dream boat of nine years, and have three babes: Noah, 6, Mylie, 3, and Presley 4 months. I was a teacher for 10 years before getting to be a stay at home mom beginning last summer. I'm a native Arizonian (is that even a word?!), but went to college in San Diego and miss it terribly! I got into handmade because I have always loved making things and being crafty, which is good because we have a really really small decorating budget! True story, one night I was asleep and woke up in the middle of the night with an idea to make a ginormous heart made of wire for our bedroom. I went to Home Depot the next day and picked up the supplies and made one. I loved how it turned out. Fast forward five years (yes five!), and I decided to start experimenting with the same technique I used to make the heart, but made a monogram for our family room. I had so much fun, that I decided to open an etsy shop to sell them, not really expecting to sell even one! Now it has become a fun side income that pays for my hobby, and a few date nights too :)
Michaela's shop is filled with the coolest decorating items. They are unique, and budget-friendly and who doesn't love supporting handmade?!
