Thank you for all of the awesome emails and comments I got in response to my post Things You Should Know About Me if we're going to be BFF's. I got some amazing emails, and loved hearing things like "I do that", "You are SO not alone!" and "More, please!" You guys are too sweet, and very encouraging which I appreciate. It sounds like one common thing a lot of us have is ending the day feeling like a terrible mom. I know we all have our bad days, and we are all doing the best we can. I know I'm not a terrible mom (In fact, most of the time I think I'm actually a darn good one), and I know you're not a terrible mom either. Let's try to stop being so hard on ourselves!
Anyways, without further adieu here are a few more things you should know....
I have a new deodorant that smells so good I am constantly sniffing my own pits. I'm tempted to rub it on my neck like a perfume.
::Here's a bad one:: if I have something random (a tag I just took off a shirt, a mismatched sock - whatever!) and I don't want to put it away properly I will shove it behind my dresser, couch, changing table - whatever is nearby and convenient. It is so gross. After a while I'll pull the furniture hiding my shame out and clean it all up, but it's a bad, bad habit. I've had it since childhood.
I am obsessed with the song "F*ck You" by Cee Lo Green. He drops the f bomb about a zillion times, and I feel like I shouldn't like it but I do. I more than like it, I love it. The "Forget You" version just doesn't do it for me. As soon as kids are asleep or not in the car with me, I blast it and have my own dance party.
I am a hoarder of the following things: Martha Stewart glitter, nail polish and makeup. I should take a picture of it all sometime. I use all of it, but with the Martha Stewart glitter I really just like to look at it more than anything.
I love pens and paper. These pens are my favorite, and pretty much any paper will do.
I get really irritated when someone who is going to one of my neighbor's houses parks directly in front of my house. Park in front of their house!
I love lists. I am a chronic list maker. Also {and I know I get this from my mom} I like my lists all to be in my handwriting, and in the same color ink. My husband {often} will write on my lists just to see if I'll toss that one out and start a new one. I always do.
I *hate* to wrap presents. If you get something nicely wrapped from me, Tony wrapped it. If it's in a bag, it's from me :) I even tricked Tony into wrapping his own Christmas presents this year.
Mary Poppins is one of my favorite movies, and has been forever. Sometimes I'll bribe Leila to watch it with me. Also, I recently ordered myself this shirt. YAY for Mary Poppins!
So, that's part two.....anything I should know about you? Come on, don't be shy!!

I'm pretty sure this means we should be BFF's.
I love you even more now.
After reading today's facts about you I am convinced we can be friends. I do the list thing too. I even take it one step further and if I mess up and have to scribble something out I will 9 times out of 10 just start a new list. I am a sucker for stationary and pens. I love email but I would much rather get a hand written note in the mail. I get super frustrated at the whole parking in front of my house!
SO fun..I've taken up the list making task, and its bc I'm a dork and forget things WAY too often!! :)And the parking in front of my house thing is SO me!! I hate that..the deodorant one killed me!! HAHA!!
I absolutely love your blog and this list! I made my list a few posts ago, and had so much fun, I may have to make a part 2 too!
Glitter: yes
Pens: yes
Lists: yes
People parking in front of the house: YES.
I'm glad we're on the same page. :)

and if i have a sock without a match i (gasp) throw it away. lol.
I LOVE this post! I've read your blog for a while and have never posted. If you lived closer to me and we randomly met, I think we would be BFF's. Almost every single thing you said was true, true, and true. It brought a smile to my face. I am just starting my blog...again! Here's to being blog friends!
