I posted that I was making nutella-filled croissants on Twitter and had a handful of people ask how I made them. First off, let me tell you that they are beyond easy. Second, I remember seeing this recipe somewhere on the internet (a blog, probably!) but can't remember where. Sorry!
Anyways, here's what you'll need:
- 1 package crescent rolls
- nutella
- crushed hazlenuts
- sanding sugar
Instructions:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and (generously) spread Nutella over each flattened piece. Sprinkle with crushed hazlenuts, and roll into a crescent shape. Place them all on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
They're best when right out of the oven, but are also the perfect treat to bake the night before (before Christmas or a MOPs meeting) Just warm them up for a few minutes in the microwave and enjoy!
I have this and a bunch of other recipes in my online tastebook. Let me know if you want me to "invite* you" to view it - I only need a handful of people to sign up until I get a free cookbook ;)
