Last Saturday we threw a surprise party for my mom's 50th birthday! It was a fiesta-theme, and I had a lot of fun planning it!
I got these cute invitations:
from "Fully Designed" on Etsy.
Made some little centerpieces, using printables from The TomKat Studio:
We patiently waited, and waited:
until it was finally time to yell "SURPRISE!"
we had great food and drinks:
(guava and pineapple aguas fresca, margaritas and World's Yummiest Sangria at the bar, Mexican sodas and beer in the coolers!)
Hung out with family and friends:
{apparently my husband and brother like to dress like twinsies}
and beat up a piñata!
all to celebrate the best mom in the world!
YAY!!! I can attest to how LONG and WELL you have been planning this surprise! I am so glad it was all - and more - than you hoped. I have never met your mom...but as a mom to girls, I hope that knowing you is knowing just the tiny tip of the woman your mother is. I know this is true! XOXO
