My sweet, growing girls...

Yesterday Leila had a doctor's appointment (poor girl has a little infection!) and we were able to combine her doctor's appointment with Gianna's 6-week well baby appointment.  Both girls are growing beautifully.  Gianna is now 10.4 pounds (60th percentile) and in the 50th percentile for head size, and 75th percentile for height.  She is doing all of the things she's supposed to be doing at this age, including spontaneously smiling:

Leila is 31.8 pounds (forgot to ask what percentile that is...) and is "just as smart as can be" according to the doctor, who saw Leila for just a few minutes but was impressed with her vocabulary, and so many other things.  She sure knows how to make a mama proud!

Speaking of Leila, I swear she is 3 going on 13!  That sweet, little girl is a sweet, little bundle of sass!  I guess it's payback.

On an extremely random note I complained that Tony doesn't put G's diapers on correctly, since there was some (ahem...) poop on the changing table pad.  Annoyed I tossed it in the wash and rolled my eyes. He's currently at a union meeting and I just changed a diaper and got some poop on the changing table myself.  Whoops.  I'm thinking it might have been God's way of telling me to take it easy on my husband who does SO much, including the majority of the diapers when he's home.  I'm a lucky girl, I know. The second poopy changing pad has already been dried and washed and replaced, and I'm debating on telling Tony whether or not I had a poop mishap too.  ; )  Maybe, maybe not.
