Preschool Update

So, it's official: Leila is in love with preschool!  Again, this morning, when I dropped her off she ran to her favorite teacher gave her a big hug and then sat down to play and yelled "Bye, Mom!"  I barely got a kiss goodbye!  She loves telling me about her day and her little friends - the ones she talks about the most are Hailey, Sophia and Vivaan.  I love that she's loving (and getting so much out of) preschool!  She's picked up some funny things from preschool, too.

New Phrases learned at preschool:
"Oh, that's fantastic!"
"Wow, amazing!"
"Cool."
"Not cool."
"You got it dude!" (I wonder which teacher was a "Full House" fan)
"Actually" (she says "actually" all the time, and it's so cute the way she says it!)
"Shut up." (Obviously I'm NOT a big fan of this one)

...and she's also picked up this really goofy fake laugh!

Since I know blog posts are boring without a picture, here's one from a few days ago.  During her nap, she decided it would be a good idea to take off her jeans and socks and instead put on her sparkly silver Halloween shoes.  Speaking of Halloween, no more flapper....but that's another post!
