You have to read this post by Marta, over at Haus of Girls: Prom Moms. It is too funny, and soooo true! There don't seem to be any "Prom Moms" at Leila's preschool, but I've definitely seen them around. I will never be a "Prom Mom" though I confess I kind of wish I was that pulled together.Oh well. Definitely check out Marta's post - you'll be happy you did!

this is absolutely hysterical. and, i think about this every flippin day when i see a mom completely decked out with 3.5 kids, her golden retriever, with a hands free in her ear and a latte in her hand at 7am.
perfect example-starbucks the other day. there was a mom who had a 8 week old baby (i asked) and she was in back of me in line. she had a full face of makeup, hair done, jewelry on, heels..the whole nine. and she looked amazing. there i was with my 6 month old, in my tracksuit, hair in a pony, no makeup, flip flops, and with bags under my size the size of teabags. i left thinking i must be the abnormal one to still not have my crap together 6 months later.
