So, when can I start decorating for Halloween without being the
crazy person over-enthusiastic lady who decorates way too early? I've got lots of cute glittery pumpkins and skulls to put out, a
cute banner to hang, my
advent calendar to put out....the list goes on and on! Speaking of the advent calendar, do you think I should get our last name embroidered on the bottom?
So far the only thing I've put out is my Halloween candy dish, which I think is showing a lot of restraint!
When do you normally decorate?!
I did that too last year when I was preggo. I ended up in the ER and then labor and delivery because the chair I was standing on broke and I fell off my porch, LOL me and baby were fine in the end but everyone kept saying "It's Sept. what are you doing putting up Halloween decorations?" LOL
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I dont think I will start putting stuff out for a few more weeks mainly because we are getting out basement finished and I cant get to the halloween decorations, LOL
oh and I have no idea what an advent calender is so I dont know if you should have your name on it or not, LOL
Whoa! I promise I won't be standing on any chairs!! here is a link to my advent calendar: http://leilasmom.blogspot.com/2008/10/let-decorating-begin.html
ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law put up her Halloween decorations like 2 weeks ago so I don't think you're too early at all LOL!
ReplyDeleteCall me crazy, but I already put my decos up last weekend...you know...when we had the strange thunderstorms/rain...it felt like Fall and I couldn't resist. LOL. It may help to know that Tomorrow is the first official day of Autumn!!
ReplyDeleteGirl, that isn't technically Halloween. It's pumpkins, not jack-o-lanterns...so that is strictly fall. I need to go through my decorations...I usually put fall/Halloween up together but maybe I'll get going on the fall stuff first.
ReplyDeleteDude then I totally fit the bill of the over-enthusiastic lady because my stuff has been up since September 1st. ;) I say go for it and decorate...oh, and I'm not even done decorating! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think that Sept. 1st is fair game and I luuurrrvee your banner! I have banner envy.
