Cheap:
Styli Style 24-Hour Power Liner: comes in a ton of shades (plum is my favorite) and stays on and in place until you take it off with makeup remover. You can get it at Ulta, and it's so cheap you might as well try a few!

Middle of the Road:
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil: also comes in a ton of yummy colors! 1999 and Bourbon are my favorites. At $17 each they're not cheap, but in my opinion they are worth it.
On the pricey side:
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner: these literally do not budge. I used to use these exclusively when I did wedding makeup, until I ran out. You can't go wrong with any of the colors - even basic black will make your eyes pop, although my favorite is the black mauve shimmer ink - yum, yum. These are great for everyday wear, or something a little more dramatic like a cat's eye - just don't go all Amy Winehouse. You do need a special brush for this eyeliner, but think of it as an investment as a good brush, when taken care of properly will last forever.
pretty!! what color are your eyes? Mine are blue and for some reason eyeliner makes them looked closed. Maybe it has to do with the shape of my eyes not the color, LOL
ReplyDeleteHey Lo! My eyes are hazel and any dark purple or purple undertones makes them more green :) For blue eyes try dark chocolate browns, and only line the top lid to avoid looking "closed in" lol!
ReplyDeleteomg i could not agree more. a little eye liner makes all the difference in the world!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the rec's! I LOVE the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner (my makeup artist from my wedding used it too and I love it). I bought the good brush to go with it but I don't think I ever took care of it properly....do you have a care routine for your brushes? (is there any hope for my old brush?)
