Pinkalicious Cupcakes

Leila's favorite books rotate between "Pinkalicious", "Purplicious" and "Fancy Nancy." One day last week she was really not wanting to go down for her nap. I told her if she slept well there might be a "pinkalicious" surprise for her when she wakes up. She reminded me that she also likes "Purplicious." As soon as she went to bed I started to make strawberry cupcakes. They weren't *quite* pink enough so I added a little more...I then filled them with a raspberry pastry filling, made pink and purplicious frostings, and then sprinkled the cupcakes. Leila was a very happy little girl when she woke up!

And, the cupcakes were (if I do say so myself) quite delicious! Leila said "thank you, mamalicious!" : )
