Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Tony has to work today (and yesterday and tomorrow!) but Leila and I made him some cupcakes (red velvet with cream cheese frosting and a non pareil on top!) and took them to the station.
All lined up they look kind of like boobies, no?
Tony was very excited to see us and Leila couldn't wait to give him the card she'd picked out and colored for him.
My lucky girl got to play in the truck and engine, and even got to talk on the radio!
My parents were nice enough to invite us to crash their Valentine's dinner and we all went to the Cheesecake Factory, where Leila had her first ice cream sundae. She loved every bite!
Then we headed over to Nordstrom, where Papa bought her these super cute shoes! She looooooved running through the shoe section, picking out her favorites and having her foot measured (she is sooo my daughter!)
We had a great Valentine's Day and hope you did too!
how did you get the boobie skin so smooth? ;)
ReplyDeletei had the same question as katie...
ReplyDeletesecondly, you are pretty much the best wife ever. tony is so lucky. i bet all the guys at the station love u.
It's the almost instant ganache ~ crazy easy...Get a container of the store-bought frosting, dye it whatever color you want (if you want to), microwave for about 20 seconds, and stir until it's almost a whipping cream consistency. Then pour the frosting in a shallow bowl and dip the cupcakes into it until they're coated as much (or as little) as you want. SUPER easy and it makes them look so much nicer!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!!
ReplyDeleteLOL at your boobies---must be every man's dream come true to have those on Valentine's Day!! :) :) And, love Leila's new shoes!!
ReplyDeleteLove the cupcake boobies! You and I will need to set up a shopping date after this little girl arrives, Leila is going to be her fashion icon!
