The Le Creuset heart-shaped casserole dish. *Sigh* How cute is it? I don't own anything cast iron. To be honest, it scares me a little bit. It's soooo heavy. For those of you who have and cook with cast iron, can you give me some pros and cons?

I absolutely love my Le Crueset and use it all the time. The only con I can think of is that it's heavy, but the pros definitely outweigh its weight. I think you need one for sure!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love cast iron! Its great to make soups and braises. Braises are really easy and its the perfect winter-ish cooking method! Go and get one! Le Cruesets will last you a lifetime.
