Cooking day!

I love cooking days!! My mom came over for a couple of hours today for a cooking day. In a few short hours we made: penne with sausage and peppers, pesto pasta salad, creamy mac 'n cheese with ham and peas, and a giant batch of taco soup, that I still have cooking down in my crock pot so it can thicken into a nice taco filling.

It was a lot of dishes to clean, but I will be so excited when I don't have to cook for the rest of the week, and I love looking at my stocked fridge!
